Dominique McCrostie
BAS Manager - CA, BCom, BSc
Dominique is a key support point for school finance teams, helping connect the day-to-day running of school accounts with clear, practical financial guidance.
With experience in both chartered accounting and school-based operational roles, she understands how schools work behind the scenes and how important it is to have financial information that is both accurate and easy to act on. She is known for her ability to take complex information and explain it in a way that feels simple and accessible.
At the heart of her approach is a strong problem-solving mindset, working through detail, identifying what doesn’t quite fit, and helping bring clarity and structure back into place.
Originally from South Africa, Dominique moved to New Zealand at a young age and later studied at the University of Otago, completing a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She began her career at PwC in Auckland, where she gained her Chartered Accountancy, before moving into school-based and operational finance roles.
Outside of work, she enjoys watersports in summer, snowboarding in winter, and has a few unexpected talents - including juggling and making balloon animals.
