BAS Accountant - MPA

Zac works through the financial detail behind school reporting and GST returns, ensuring the numbers are accurate, consistent, and easy to understand. A big part of his role is helping turn complex financial information into something schools can actually use in their day-to-day decision-making.

He has a strong focus on keeping things simple and straightforward, especially when financial information can start to feel overwhelming. Zac enjoys working through problems methodically, finding practical answers, and making sure nothing important is missed along the way.

Originally starting out in engineering, Zac developed a structured and analytical approach to problem-solving, which now underpins his work in accounting and financial reporting.

Zac holds a Master of Professional Accounting from Victoria University and is currently progressing through his CA ANZ studies. He also brings experience from fund services and time spent volunteering as a treasurer for a not-for-profit organisation.

Outside of work, Zac is usually at the gym in a BodyCombat class or planning his next road trip somewhere around New Zealand. He is always up for being on the move, whether that’s a weekend escape or finding a new place to explore.
