Balance & Wellbeing: Kemi Nekvapil

At the Xerocon Conference 2022, we heard from inspiring speaker Kemi Nekvapil, who invited us to consider our well-being within ourselves, prioritising our self-care to feel nourished, happy, and fulfilled.
Below are Kemi's 7 Principles of Living a Balanced Life – founded on the premise that you cannot be sustainable to others if not to yourself:
1. Body nourishment – food, sleep, and exercise.
2. Self-care – you can't give to others if you don't give to yourself.
3. Creative expression
4. Joy creation
5. Elevating relationships and communities
6. Living passions
7. Purpose and contribution
The key takeaway message from this talk was that we must do something daily that brings us joy and excitement. Without a balanced life, how can we succeed? So, what will be on your list today that brings you joy and excitement?
